Motor sports: Speedway features extreme freestyle jumping Nov. 10

COSTA MESA - An eventful night of speedway motorcycle racing,
including freestyle motocross, will be featured at the Costa Mesa
Speedway on the Orange County Fairgrounds, Saturday Nov. 10.
Freestyle motocross, the extreme form of speedway, which includes
jumps and tricks, will be on display along with speedway motorcycle and
speedway sidecar racing.
Costa Mesa’s Bobby “Boogaloo” Schwartz will compete in the full
program of speedway motorcycle racing against current U.S. National
Champion Chris Manchester and other riders.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the first race begins at 7:30. The event
costs $12 for adults, juniors and seniors are $8, children ages 6-12 are
$4 and 5-and-under are free.
