Girls tennis: Mustangs fall

Hilary Havens won two sets for Costa Mesa, but the visiting
Mustangs lost to University, 16-2, in a Pacific Coast League girls tennis
match Monday.
Havens finished the regular season with a record of 31-18. The
Mustangs end the year 3-13, 2-8 in league.
University improves to 7-3 in league.

University 16, Costa Mesa 2 Singles -- Havens (CM) lost to Biorkman, 1-6, def. Chukiat, 6-2, def.
Johnson, 6-0; K. Nguyen (CM) lost, 0-6, 1-6, 2-6; Hack (CM) lost, 0-6,
2-6, 3-6.
Doubles - H. Nguyen-Pham (CM) lost to Aswad-Wilson, 6-7 (4-7), lost to
Ngo-Chang, 0-6, lost to Chin-Gutnick, 0-6; B. Tran-Doan (CM) lost, 2-6,
2-6, 0-6; Maddox-T. Tran (CM) lost, 0-6, 0-6, 1-6.
