Banfield, The Pet Hospital, has announced that Huntington Beach

resident Claudine Seto has joined its practice. Seto is a 2000 graduate

of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow,

Scotland. . . . Army Pvt. Michelle Riley has graduated from basic combat

training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During nine weeks of training

Riley practiced drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, field

tactics Army values and traditions. Riley is the daughter of Carol Wight

of Huntington Beach. She is a 2001 graduate of Liberty Christian High

School in Huntington Beach. . . . Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua

Kimber recently completed the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit course at

Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N.Y. Kimber received

instruction on nuclear theory, chemistry, reactor operations and safety.

He is the son of Barbara Kimber of Huntington Beach and a 1993 graduate

of Chino High School. . . . Marine Corps Pfc. Michael Tucker recently

graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine

Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Tucker is the son of Joyce and Richard

Cruz of Huntington Beach. He is a 2000 graduate of Cypress High School. .

Hanover College. She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and the daughter
