WEATHER FORECAST
Well, Tuesday turned out to be a bust. But today should be slightly
better with morning clouds and fog that’ll give way to partly sunny
conditions by afternoon in Newport-Mesa. Highs will be in the mid-70s in
Costa Mesa and in the upper 60s in Newport Beach.
Lows will be in the mid- to upper 60s. The same can be expected
Thursday. Enjoy.

BOATING FORECAST
Light winds and fog will kick off the morning in the harbor, but the
southwesterly winds will pick up to 10 to 15 knots for the rest of the
day, with waves of 2 feet and a west swell of 4 feet.
The same can be expected out farther, though the northwest swell will
be about 7 feet.
SURF
The southwest swell is here and is providing some great waves in the
form of waist- to head-highs and the occasional 7-footers. Expect even
larger surf Thursday, with waves in the shoulder to overhead range.
Again, the occasional 7-footers will roll in. What are you waiting for?
Get out there! Of course, read the rest of the paper first.
