WEATHER FORECAST
Morning clouds and mid-60 degree weather starts the day. You might see
some hints of clouds throughout the day, but nothing will stop the
mercury from reaching toward 80 degrees.
By evening, even the hints of clouds will be a thing of the past, and
it’s looking to be a perfect evening with temperatures sticking in the
mid-70s. Don’t expect it to cool down into the 60s until 9 p.m. or so.

BOATING FORECAST
A light offshore wind will greet early harbor sailors. By the
afternoon, it will switch around and start blowing from the south and
west at 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves near shore will be 2 feet, with a
southwest swell at 4 feet. After nightfall, the winds and waves calm down
even more. Watch for some fog.
In the deeper waters, the high winds from the past few days northwest
of San Nichols Island have died down to just 10 to 20 knots, producing
waves between 2 and 3 feet. South of the island, winds will be less and
10 knots in the morning. A northwest swell is at 7 feet. Winds stay calm
through the day.
SURF
More of the same today. The northwest wind swell is what’s keeping
things at all exciting. And that’s not too much: 2- to 3-foot waves, OK
shape, a little offshore breeze possible. But once again, the high tide
at 10:30 a.m. will chunk things out. Rumors of something in 10 days.
