A robber is still on the loose after holding up a Wienerschnitzel
restaurant and taking an unknown amount of money Sunday night.
Lt. Bruce Kelly of the Huntington Beach Police Department said the man
entered the restaurant at 7622 Edinger Ave. just after 8 p.m. Sunday,
walked up to the counter, showed the cashier a handgun and demanded
money.
The cashier gave all the money in the cashier, an unknown amount, to
the suspect and the suspect left the restaurant and fled on foot in an
unknown direction, Kelly said.
No shots were fired and there were no injuries, Kelly added.
The suspect is described as in his mid-20s, 6 feet tall and weighing
180 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing all black
clothing.
