The Huntington Beach Playhouse is presenting, “Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat” Friday through Aug. 26. The production is a hip
biblical tale of the prophetic son Joseph who was sold into slavery by
his brothers. The show includes a contemporary blend of calypso, rock ‘n’
roll and country western music. Curtain is at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and
Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at 7111 Talbert Ave. Tickets are $14-$17

SUNDAYThe Preservation Society of Huntington Dog Beach is seeking
volunteers to help clean the area. Cleaning utensils will be provided.
Cleanup is 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Check in is near Tower 24 (look for a
blue canopy). Parking is north of Goldenwest Street, south of Seapoint
