HUNTINGTON BEACH - Newport Beach resident Bob Duesler completed yet

another double Saturday, winning the 65s singles and doubles titles at

the men’s United States Tennis Association National Hardcourt

Championships at Lindborg Racquet Club.

Duesler, the No. 1 seed, defeated No. 3-seeded Jim Landin of Naples,

6-4, 6-4, in the 65s singles final.

He also teamed with longtime partner Jim Nelson to defeat Lenny

Lindborg of Laguna Beach and John Powless of Dallas, 7-6 (4),, 6-1, for

the 65s doubles crown.
