* Avenue of the Arts: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 3200

block at 7:34 p.m. Thursday.

* Babb Street and Baker Street: A hit and run misdemeanor was reported

at 6:18 p.m. Thursday.

* Coolidge Avenue: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 3000

block at 9:41 a.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Blackthorn Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2600 block

at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.

* Hoag Drive: Disorderly conduct involving alcohol was reported in the

1 block at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.

* East Oceanfront: A resident in the 900 block reported Wednesday that

somebody put rat poison on top of a wall where he routinely fed his cats.
