Listen to young talent: “Celebration of Music,” a benefit concert with

performances by piano students from the Merle Valdez Piano Studio and

Irvine Youth Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, will begin at 7 p.m. at the

Women’s voices united: The Orange County Women’s Chorus will present

“Women on the Verge” at 7 p.m. at Newport Harbor Lutheran Church, 798

South of the border: The work of Mexican artist Heriberto Juarez will

be on exhibit from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through July 1 at

The power of poetry: S.A. Griffin, author of “Unborn Again,” will give

WEDNESDAY

Who was the Bard?: “The Beard of Avon,” an Amy Freed play about

William Shakespeare, will seek to answer that question through July 1 at

be staged at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 2:30 and 8 p.m. Saturdays
