COSTA MESA
* Dorset Lane: An auto theft was reported in the 1100 block at 7:46
a.m. Thursday.
* Fair Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 50 block at 6:25 a.m.
Thursday.
* Monrovia Avenue: A hit-and-run accident involving property damage
was reported in the 1700 block at 2:50 a.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Newport Center Drive: A digital camera was reported stolen from an
office in the 500 block at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
* Von Karman: A leather jacket and duffel bag were reported stolen
from a parked car in the 4700 block at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
* 41st Street: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 200 block at
3:30 a.m. Friday. A resident complained that these calls came in between
2 and 4 a.m. and played music when answered.
