* Brookhurst Street: A forgery was reported in the 10280 block at 9:16
a.m. Friday.
* Caladium Avenue: Battery was reported in the 9070 block at 8:37 a.m.
Monday.
* Eagle Avenue: Police and fire officials responded to a fire in the
10110 block at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
* Harbor Boulevard: Police responded to an illegal soliciting taking
place in the 16190 block at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
* Honeysuckle Avenue: Shots were reported in the 9230 block at 9:55
p.m. Sunday.
* Mount Ararat Circle: A burglary was reported in the 16440 block at
8:05 p.m. May 16.
* Newhope Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 16560
block at 8:43 a.m. May 15.
* San Mateo Street: Police responded to a stolen vehicle report in the
17130 block at 5:41 a.m. Monday.
* Stonecress Avenue: A residential burglary was reported in the 11230
block at 10:22 a.m. Saturday.
* Slater Avenue: Police responded to a report of a narcotics activity
taking place in the 10200 block at 2:12 p.m. May 15.
* Warner Avenue: A juvenile disturbance was reported in the 9940 block
at 2:48 p.m. May 17.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Beach Boulevard and Speer Avenue: A pit bull was reportedly
wandering freely around a neighborhood near the intersection at 5:05 p.m.
May 16.
* Beachpoint Circle: Police responded to a report of 12 shots fired
near a car dealership in the 7000 block at 2:08 p.m. Saturday.
* Carousel Lane: Police and fire officials responded to a vehicle
ablaze in the 16000 block at 6:55 a.m. May 14.
* Garfield Avenue: Police received a trespassing report, where a man
was allegedly living in a private Dumpster in the 9000 block at 8:17 a.m.
May 15.
* Gothard Street: A bird cage and car rack, worth a total of about
$400, were reported stolen from a business in the 17000 block at 8:41
p.m. May 16.
* Lynn Street: A woman told police that a man hid behind the window
curtains of his home, then jumped into view indecently exposing his naked
body, calling and waving after her as she turned away from the residence
in the 16000 block at 7:12 p.m. May 14.
* Magnolia Street: A man described as in his late 20s, standing 5-feet
8-inches tall with glasses and wearing a light-colored jacket and maroon
T-shirt, was reportedly hostile and yelling in a church while seeking a
place to stay in the 20000 block at 6:12 p.m. May 17.
* Main Street: Someone reported a grand theft incident, with a loss
totaling $58,464, from the 2000 block at 2:07 p.m. May 15.
* Pacific Coast Highway: Police received an annoying phone calls from
a girl upset after someone had repeatedly rang her home and ultimately
made life-threatening statements in the 900 block at 8:51 a.m. Saturday.
* Pearce Street: A resident told police that a girl riding a Go Ped
motorized scooter was driving recklessly in the street and dangerously in
the way of traffic in the 5000 block at 10:28 a.m. Sunday.
* Viewpoint Lane: Someone complained to police about a loud party with
blaring music going on in an apartment complex in the 16000 block at 1:27
p.m. Friday.
* Warner Avenue: A man was reportedly prowling around the backyard of
a residence, apparently attempting to gain entry, in the 7000 block at
12:59 a.m. May 17.
* Washington Avenue: Police received a report of indecent exposure
where a man, described as in his 30s, standing 5-feet 9-inches and
wearing black shorts, had reportedly pulled down his pants to “moon”
passersby, while yelling and screaming, in the 7000 block at 1:16 p.m.
Friday.
* Waterway Circle: Someone complained to police about four juveniles,
who were reportedly harassing a resident, as well as throwing objects at
and trying to gain entrance to a home via a window in the 16000 block at
5:51 p.m. Sunday.
