* South Coast Drive: A hit and run misdemeanor was reported in the 900

block at 1:50 p.m. Monday.

* West 18th Street: Grand theft was reported in the 800 block at 12:43

p.m. Monday.

* West 19th Street: An auto theft was reported in the 600 block at

2:57 p.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Marine Avenue: A purse with $500 was reported stolen in the 300

block at 2:25 p.m. Sunday.

* Newport Center Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 7

p.m. Sunday.

* Ocean Boulevard and Goldenrod Avenue: Malicious mischief was

reported at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
