Yachts and boats ranging in price from $100,000 to $1 million will
be on display during the Newport In-Water Boat Show taking place May 2 to
6 at Newport Dunes Resort and Marina in Newport Beach. Show hours are
from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
This year’s motto is “Fun Size Fits All” and the show will feature
large, luxurious vessels from the United States and foreign
manufacturers.
Topping the early submission list of oversized crafts to be displayed
in the lagoon will be the 2001 Novatec 80, presented by Naples Yacht
Sales of Long Beach. This vessel comes with a price tag of $2.65 million.
Other models will include McKinna Yachts of Southern California’s
65-foot Pilot House for $1.65 million and 25 new power and sailboats
presented by H&S; Yachts of Newport Beach.
Bayport Yachts will exhibit a full line of Carver yachts and Paul
Albrecht Yacht Sales of Long Beach will feature the Australian-built
Rivieras, the 4000 Enclosed and the 36 Sport Fisherman. Newport Yacht
Brokers’ exhibit will include two 70-foot Hatteras cockpit motoryachts, a
64-foot Queenship and a 48-foot Sunseeker.
Admission to the Newport In-Water Boat Show is $10 for adults.
