Holiday trees in Costa Mesa will be picked up and recycled on regular

trash days through Jan. 6. The city of Costa Mesa, the Costa Mesa

Sanitary District and the Orange County Fairgrounds are sponsoring the

tree recycling. Decorations, tinsel and the tree stand should be removed

from the tree, which should be placed at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on the

trash collection day. The service is for single-family and small

multifamily dwellings that use the curbside trash service. Multifamily

complexes and commercial businesses using trash bin service should

arrange tree pickup with their regular trash hauler. Information: (714)
