Jump, jive and wail. Grammy Award-nominee Keely Smith, who is known as
the Queen of Swing, will perform at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. today and Saturday
at the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s Founders Hall, 600 Town

The power of toys. A toy drive for Project Cuddle will be held at the
Orange County swap meet in Costa Mesa beginning today and running through
Dec. 10. Anyone bringing a new unwrapped toy or item of clothing, valued
at $5 or more, for a child or young teen will receive free admission to
the swap meet. Admission is free today. Project Cuddle is a Costa
Mesa-based nonprofit charity group that provides emotional and emergency
support to prevent baby-abandonment nationwide. The swap meet is
regularly held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday at the
Orange County Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. (949) 723-6660.
SUNDAY
A European Christmas. The Swedish Christmas Fair will be held from 11
a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Neighborhood Community Center, 1845 Park
Ave., Costa Mesa. The event will include Swedish art, food, dancing
around the Christmas tree and a Lucia Pageant, among other features. Free
