Women’s water polo: Pirates take third

MISSION VIEJO - The Orange Coast College women’s water polo team

took third place at the Saddleback Water Polo Tournament Friday and

Saturday.

Following Friday’s 10-5 win over Mt. San Antonio and 14-3 win over

Southwestern, the Pirates fell on Saturday to Golden West, 12-6.

Devon Wright led the Pirates’ scoring with three in that contest,

while Neisha Hoagland added two goals and Christine McDonald had one.

In the third-place finals the Pirates (3-1) knocked off host

Saddleback, 12-3.

Wright, Hoagland, Dylene Coberly and Tracy Maddox each had two goals,

while Heather Lemke, Jennifer Hallman, Kristina Miloslavic and Kathy

Klarich each added solo tallies.
