Swimming: Local AquaZots do well at S.T.O.P.

- Four Newport Beach swimmers on the Irvine AquaZot swim club
improved on their times at the “Summer Splash BC” Meet.
In the 13 and older age group, Lauren Indvik shaved nine seconds off
her old time in the girls 200-meter breastroke. She was third in the “B”
race with a 3:09.75. In the same group, Jaclynn Petrilli saw a three
second drop in the 100 free with a 1:10.72, good for third in the “C”
race.
In the “C” 9-10 girls 100 breaststroke, Alyssa Kelly improved by two
seconds witha 1:48.45.58, which put her in third. Sarah Hutchinson won
the 50 butterfly with a 33.69 in the 11-12 “B” race.
Ricky Wilson was second in the 11-12 boys 100 individual medley with a
1:17.69, a two second improvement.
