Snipers take out Thunderblades, 8-2

Chas Plimpton scored three goals and also assisted another Monday
to lead the Snipers in an 8-2 victory over the Thunderblades on the
opening night of the new Smythe (East) Division season at Coast 2 Coast
Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Kyle Steinbrick also scored two goals, Andrew Jackson scored once with
two assists, and Craig Chorpenning added a goal for the Snipers, who also
received 16 saves from goalie Mark Kosko.
Luke Gane and Chase Obenauer both scored, Joshua Gane had an assist,
and goalie Stephen Miller had 32 saves for the Thunderblades.

Flames goalie Sam Robinson got the shutout victory on 27 saves, Kian
Rhodes scored two goals, and Jamie Schlegel scored once with an assist;
Hat Trix goalie Colten Daigneault recorded 24 saves.
