John Neneman, a theology student at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon,

received the seminary’s highest award -- the Benedict Medal. Neneman is a

member of the Holy Spirit Parish in Fountain Valley ... Stacy Sellons of

Fountain Valley received the American Red Cross Courage to Respond award

for her quick response to a co-worker who stopped breathing due to a

seizure. Sellons was able to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation to

save the life of her colleague ... Melissa Potter, daughter of Duane and

Carol Potter of Fountain Valley, was named to the term honors list of

Concordia University in Seward, Neb., for the second semester of the 2000

academic year ... Sgt. Robert C. Beckhart has been decorated with the
