1. MYSTERIES OF PERU: “Peru: The Mysterious Journey,” the final

program in OCC’s 1999-2000 travelogue film series, will begin at 7 p.m.

Friday at the Robert B. Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.

2. OCEANS OF ORCHIDS: The Newport Harbor Orchid Society’s third

annual orchid show, “Oceans of Orchids,” will run through Sunday at

Triangle Square, 1870 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa. Hours are from 10 a.m. to

5 p.m. daily. Other concurrent events are video presentations, cultural

lectures and orchid sales. Admission is free. Valet parking is available.
