AYSO Region 97: Black Magic stays hot

MISSION VIEJO - The Black Magic, a girls under 14 Plus Team from AYSO Region 97, won four games in a row in the the Crown Valley Parkway

Tournament last weekend.

The Magic defeated South Huntington Beach, Tustin, Belmont Shores and

Santa Margarita all by the score of 1-0 and finished first in their

section.

Three goals were scored by Alley Stolz and one by Kristen Jendrusina.

Goalkeeper Kara DeMille remained the top keeper in the league with only

seven goals allowed in 25 games this season, along with 18 shutouts.

The Magic has advanced to the semifinals on May 13. They are 22-3 for the

season and were first in the 18-team Plus League.
