Trilogy Playhouse’s production of Neil Simon’s “Fools,” a hilarious fable
about the people of a fictitious Russian Village who have been placed
under the curse of stupidity for 200 years, will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets
are $15. For an additional $13 per ticket, a dinner/theater package can
be purchased. The playhouse is at 2930 Bristol St., Building C-106, Costa
Mesa at the Lab Anti-Mall in the back lot. No one under 10 will be

The Pacific Chorale will present “Voices of Heaven and Earth” featuring
work by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frank Martin, Samuel Barber, Eric Whitacre
and a tribute to Jester Hairston at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $14 to

MONDAY
The Dor Sheni Song and Dance Troupe from Israel will perform at 7 p.m. at
the Jewish Federation Campus in honor of Mother’s Day. The performance is
in support of the “Mother to Another” program for Israeli children whose
lives have been shattered by abuse, violence and neglect. Tickets are
$18. Children under 13 get in free. Dessert will be served. The campus is

TUESDAY
William Wegman is a master artist whose work is often identified with
unusual modern art mediums such as Dada, Surrealism, Performance, Pop and
Conceptual Art. The exhibit show cases Wegman’s passion for painting,
photography and video art. His work will be displayed at the Orange
County Museum of Art through July 16. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for
seniors and students; children under 16 are free. Admission is free on
Tuesdays. The museum is located at 850 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach.

Poetry troupe Five Penny Poets will perform at Alta Coffee House &
Roasting Company at 8 p.m. The poetry troupe will include Mifanwy Kaiser,
Michael Paul, Victor Infante, Paul Suntup and Minday Nettifee and musical
guest Liquid Muse. Alta Coffee is located at 506 31st St., Newport Beach.
