Softball: CdM’s comeback falls short

IRVINE - With four errors, Corona del Mar High’s softball team

allowed host University to score four runs on three hits Thursday in a

Pacific Coast League game. The Sea Kings almost came back but fell short,

4-3.

Megan Curry had a two RBI single in the sixth inning for CdM (4-7, 2-2 in

league), but the Sea Kings left the inning with the bases loaded. Meaghan

Bunney had a RBI single in the seventh to cut Uni’s lead to one, but CdM

again left the bases loaded.
