Baseball: Lions win second straight

SANTA CLARITA - The Vanguard University baseball team won its
second straight game, knocking off the host Master’s College, 7-6,
Saturday, in Golden State Athletic Conference action.
Despite losing a 6-2 seventh-inning lead, the Lions (6-25) pushed the
go-ahead run in the eighth for the win.
Tim Jara, Bryan Davis and James Dent each drove in two runs for Vanguard,
while Ryan Williams threw two shutout innings of relief to earn the win.
