The Orange County Department of Education will hold its 14th annual Human Services Conference today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel
in Costa Mesa.
The first keynote speaker will be Steven Glenn, an acclaimed psychologist
who will speak on the “seven strategies for developing capable students.”
Also, Kay Toliver, an educator for more than 27 years, will promote her
approach to classroom excellence that has been a national model for
raising standards. Toliver promotes a simple approach that all students
can learn and it’s our job to lead them.
