NORTHCUTT SEEKS DONORS
Northcutt Elementary School in Fountain Valley is starting its annual
fund-raiser for the 1999-2000 school year.
Contributors will receive recognition in the the school’s newsletter,
which reaches hundreds of families in the community.

MUSICAL NOTES
The Edison High School Pageantry Corps Booster Assn. seeks donations to
replace its aging collection of musical instruments.
If you would like to contribute a used instrument to the band, call
Alexis Booher at 557-8352.
LEARN THE WEB
The Huntington Beach Adult School will begin a six-week computer training
class starting April 24.
Students will learn to search the Internet, use a scanner, and publish
and create a Web page.

SCOUT HONORS
Three Ocean View High School Seahawks have become Eagle Scouts.
Senior Gary Ernst became an Eagle Scout in Troop 134 of Huntington Beach.
His service project involved designing and building bookcases for
Huntington Christian School. He also organized a car wash to raise funds
for the bookcase materials.
Senior Hamilton Pham achieved the same honor in Troop 274 of Huntington
Beach. His project consisted of repainting the buildings in the
California Preschool and Kindergarten in Westminster.
Sophomore Peter Chin became an Eagle Scout in Troop 117 of Huntington Beach. To reach the highest level of Scouting, he planted trees along
Harbor Boulevard. He also distributed educational brochures promoting
tree planting and care.
GRAD NIGHT 2000
Fountain Valley High School parents are organizing the 13th Grad Night
party for the 2000 graduating class.
The party provides a substance-free evening for students.
This year’s Grad Night event will be held at Fountain Valley High School
on June 14.
The school is requesting donations from businesses, companies, clubs and
individuals within the Fountain Valley High School community.
Donations will help cover the expenses and provide door prizes for the
event.
