Anarchy wins again

After opening the Mite Club Division winter season with six

consecutive losses, Anarchy suddenly finds itself riding a two-match win

streak.

Anarchy’s second win of the season came Wednesday afternoon as Daniel Ha

and Tony Gutierrez each scored two goals to lead the way in an 8-2

victory over previously undefeated LBZ at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Five other members of Anarchy went into the score book as Devan

Chargualaf, Kyleen Gonzalez, Steven Tomita, and Donald Watts each scored

once with an assist, and Jake Thistle also collected an assist for the

winners, now 2-6 overall.

LBZ, which had a seven match undefeated string broken in falling to

6-1-1, received single goals from both Eric Lyon and Kevin Eldridge, who

also had an assist.

The loss knocked LBZ out of a share of the division lead with HB Surf,

which earlier in the week had tied LBZ, 7-7. Kevin Lachman scored three

goals, Michael Mongelli scored twice with an assist, Shane Lakes scored

once with an assist, Chad Ramsey scored once, and Michael Burkhardt

handed out three assists to pace HB Surf (7-0-1). Donald Kohler scored

three goals and had an assist to top LBZ.

In other division matches:

Predators 9, Young Guns 8

Dylan Lamphear scored a division-high four goals and assisted two scores,

Mats Degerstedt scored three goals with an assist, Daniel Gibson scored

twice, and Cody Franks and Chayce Yokoyama each had an assist for the

Predators (5-3).

Dakota Eveland scored three goals with an assist, Jordan Rohr scored

twice, Mark Miller scored once with a pair of assists, David Wear scored

once with an assist, Parker Conant scored once, and Rocco Grimaldi had

one assist for the Young Guns (3-5).

Eagles 4, Flamebos 3

The Eagles (2-6) collected their second win of the season behind the

two-goal scoring of Adam Daley, and single scores by both Chris Avalos

and Scott Mahelona.

The Flamebos, in dropping their third consecutive match to fall to 3-5

received single goals from Niko Urbano, Matthew Hiraoka, and Kenny Gibo.

Hiraoka and Gibo also had one assist apiece.
