1. SAILING, THE HARD WAY
Orange Coast College will hold its fourth and final program in its
Sailing Adventure Series at 8 p.m. tonight in the Robert B. Moore
Theatre. The program, “Survival -- And Beyond,” will feature Bill Butler,
who will describe his experience of being attacked by whales and cast
adrift for 66 days on a life raft. Tickets are $5 to $13. OCC is at 2701

2. KISS AND MAKEUP
Borders South Coast Plaza, Premier Hair Studio, the New Man clothing
store and author/cartoonist Rubin Gerard will present an event at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Borders cafe to help men and women look their best for
Valentine’s Day. The event will feature hairstyling tips, make-overs and

3. MIND, BODY AND SOUL
The Latest Thing Teaching and Healing Center will hold a “Mind, Body and
Soul Fair” from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The event features free
face-painting, music and discounted psychic and spiritual readings. The
