Wrestling: CdM pins Mesa to the mat

CORONA DEL MAR - Corona del Mar High’s wrestling team won the key
matches and prevailed, 51-30, over visiting Costa Mesa in Pacific Coast
League action Thursday night.
In the 145-pound weight class, CdM’s Anthony Trankiem pinned his opponent
at 3:08.
Sophomore Ben Wynkoop, fresh off a comeback pin last week against
Estancia, dominated his opponent, winning by a 15-8 decision.
Next up for the Sea Kings, they travel to Northwood to take on the
Timberwolves Thursday.
