SAN DIEGO - Point Loma Nazarene used a balanced scoring attack with
four players in double figures and swept to a 72-59 victory over visiting
Vanguard University Tuesday night in Golden State Athletic Conference
basketball play.
The Lady Crusaders opened a 10-point lead with 3:58 left and maintained
the pressure the rest of the way to improve to 2-2 in GSAC play, dropping
Vanguard to 3-1.
Kelly Boeke led the Lions, ranked eighth in the country on the NAIA
level, with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Leading the Lady Crusaders was Sasha Rumpel, who had 14 points and seven
boards.
