Former Fountain Valley High all-CIF basketball player Jennifer
Ludwicki continues to tear up the net for the University of New Orleans
Privateers.
Thursday at Elon College of North Carolina, the 5-foot-11 forward poured in 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had two steals in 29 minutes of
action in a losing cause as UNO dropped an 83-62 decision to the host
Fightin’ Christians.
Ludwicki went 5 of 13 from the field and was a perfect 4 of 4 from the
foul line in recording her fourth double-figure game of the season.
Her seven rebounds tied for team-high Thursday and were her second-best
rebounding game of the season.
In seven games - all games in which she started, Ludwicki has averaged
10.9 points per game (second on the team), five rebounds, is third on the
team in assists with 12, and averages 27 minutes of playing time per
game, which ranks third on the team.
The Privateers, 3-4, return home Sunday to host Wake Forest of the
Atlantic Coast Conference.
