* Bear Street: About $700 was stolen from a business in the 2900 block
between 7:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday.
* Bristol Street: A camcorder, compact disc player, a camera and a pair
of sunglasses worth $3,000 were stolen from a car in the 3300 block
between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
* Congress Street: A lawn mower, leaf blower and a weed eaterworth $2,400
were stolen from a home in the 700 block the evening of Nov. 27.
* Hamilton Street: A compact disc player worth $400 was stolen from a car
in the 500 block the evening of Nov. 27.
* Newport Boulevard: A backpack and its contents worth $200 were stolen
from a car in the 1800 block between 7:30 and 9 p.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* East Coast Highway: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car
in the 3000 block between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
* Marine Avenue: A briefcase and its contents worth $300 were stolen from
a car in the 300 block at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
* Scholz Plaza: Miscellaneous property worth $3,010 was stolen from a
business in the 100 block between Nov. 21 and Dec. 8.
* Superior Avenue: Someone fraudulently used a stolen bank card and
withdrew $300 at 11:10 p.m. Monday.
