The Madrona Manor in Healdsburg was the setting for the June 26
wedding of Eden Aliene Werner and Christopher Michael Oeding, both of
Newport Beach.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley M. Wise of Newport
Beach.
Her maid of honor was Erin Werner and her bridesmaids were Tracy
Coombe, Heather Martin and Jan Mohs.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Oeding of Newport
Beach.
His best man was Jeff Oeding and ushers were Brian Monty, Paul Nelson
and Chris Rabbitt.
The reception was also at Madrona Manor and was attended by 90 guests.
The couple returned to their home in Costa Mesa following a wedding
trip to Hawaii.
The bride is employed as a second-grade teacher at Raymond Elementary
School in Fullerton. The groom is employed as a head coach for the men’s
water polo and the coed swimming team at Orange Coast College.
The Corona del Mar Community Church Congregational was the setting for
the June 10 wedding of Natalie Hastings of Costa Mesa and Gary Hill of
South Africa.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hastings of Costa
Mesa.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hill of Johannesburg, South
Africa.
The reception was held at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach.
The couple returned to their home in Irvine following a wedding trip
to Tahiti, Australia, Vienna, Prague and London.
The bride is employed as a membership service director at The Newport
Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce. The groom is employed as a senior
management consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Martha Jensen of Palm Desert and Henry Saar of Rosarita Beach have
announced the engagement of their daughter, Lora, to Jeff Brixey, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Larry and Judy Brixey of Irvine.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Kennedy High School and UCI.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Corona del Mar High School and Cal
Poly San Luis Obispo.
An Oct. 30 wedding is planned at the Grand Tradition Victorian Estate
in Fallbrook.
