Homes needed for exchange students
Five Brazilian teenagers need host families this year while they
attend Newport-Mesa high schools.
The five 17-year-old boys will study English and learn about American
culture through an exchange program designed to shape future leaders.
Families are asked to host the students for one to two semesters by
providing a bed, meals and a chance to share in the Amebican experience.
Students are required to obey house rules and participate in family
functions, including chores and church.
The students have their own health insurance and spending money. For more
information, call OCEAN, the Organization for Cultural Exchange Among
Nations at 1-800-286-2326 or coordinator Ralph Short at (949) 675-0423.
