HUNTINGTON BEACH -- Ocean View School District has hired new
principals for Circle View Elementary, and Spring View and Vista View
middle schools, a district official said.
Benita Cadra-Lytle, who was an elementary school assistant principal for
the Santa Ana Unified School District, was named Circle View’s new
principal in July.
The school’s former principal, Beverly McNealy-Hempstead, has become the
district’s director of student services.
Cameron Malotte, a former Lowell Joint School District principal, also
learned she received Spring View’s top administrator spot in July.
Bill Behrens, the former Spring View principal, has become the
coordinator of classified personnel at Alvord Unified School District in
Riverside.
Previous Vista View Middle School assistant principal Kathy Bihr was
named that school’s principal on Aug. 17.
Former principal Mike Luker has become the district’s director of human
resources, curriculum and instruction.
John Tennant, the district’s assistant superintendent of human resources,
said the new employees will make a great addition to the district.
“New people always bring in good ideas with them to add what you are
already are doing,” Tennant said. “They are bright and enthusiastic
people so we are very fortunate.”
