Monarch Butterfly Day brings a winged spring fling to Mile Square Regional Park

Butterflies fluttered by in Fountain Valley on Saturday for the 10th annual Monarch Butterfly Day at Mile Square Regional Park.
The celebration of the regal winged insects included a netted enclosure for up-close interaction, plus chats with experts and demonstrations on how to plant a butterfly garden at home.
The event was originally scheduled for February but was postponed because of rain.
