A Costa Mesa townhouse was damaged Tuesday when an SUV jumped a curb and crashed into the front of the home, police said.
Costa Mesa police and fire officials responded to the 2100 block of Canyon Drive at about 5:45 p.m. after receiving a report that a vehicle had slammed into a residence, said police Sgt. Bang Le.
The 69-year-old driver was trapped in the vehicle and was rescued. He was not injured, Le said.
A woman who was inside the home at the time also was uninjured, Le said.
Authorities said they do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
