Police arrested a Laguna Beach woman after she allegedly refused to pay an $80 cab fare after traveling from Yorba Linda to Laguna, police said.
Corene Gray Campbell, 52, was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at 3:12 p.m. Saturday after the cab driver signed a citizen’s arrest form against her inside the Laguna Beach Police Department, Capt. Jason Kravetz wrote in an email.
The driver picked up Campbell in Yorba Linda. When they arrived in Laguna Beach, Campbell said she didn’t have any money and the driver took her to the police department, police said.
Paramedics took Campbell to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach for a possible seizure, according to the police log.
