Re “Obama lawyers to defend cross on Mt. Soledad,” April 11
As an Army veteran and a non-Christian, a cross cannot represent me any more than an Islamic crescent could represent a Christian veteran.
The 1st Amendment requires our government to be neutral regarding religion. In that spirit, why can’t we have a memorial on Mt. Soledad that honors all veterans?
