Letters: Recalling the Everly Brothers

Re “Half of rock vocal duo the Everly Brothers,” Obituary, Jan. 4
The date was April 30, 1958. The place: The Roundhouse Drive-in Restaurant in South Jersey. I was 17 years old and a senior in high school, having been accepted to Penn State University (starting that fall) and all set with a summer job down at the Jersey shore. Unsuspectingly, I was about to meet my future husband that night.
Playing on my dad’s car radio was the Everly Brothers’ “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” my favorite at the time.
Priceless.
