Letters: Kudos to Bill Moyers

Re “A moral compact,” Opinion, Dec. 12
Bill Moyers’ piece is one of the most beautifully cogent and eloquent ones I have ever read on the state of race and social responsibility within today’s (and yesterday’s) United States.
This article merits publication in civics, history and political science textbooks, as it is a statement of American principles for the ages.
