Re “Putin signs law banning American adoptions,” Dec. 29
By denying Americans the ability to adopt Russian orphans in a tit-for-tat retaliation after the U.S. imposed sanctions on the Russian killers of a whistle-blower, does President Vladimir Putin really want to make his very large country — in a geographical sense — look so small in the eyes of free countries everywhere?
