Law enforcement authorities in the Denver suburbs late Wednesday arrested a man they believe is connected to a triple homicide, while another man remains at large.
Officials with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department said Furmen Lee Leyba, 30, remains at large and is a person of interest in the shootings. The sheriff’s office did not name the man who was arrested in connection with Wednesday’s homicides.
Three bodies were found in a Westminster, Colo., home after a woman called 911 about 7:20 a.m. to report a disturbance, Cmdr. Terrance O’Neill of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office told the Los Angeles Times. Westminster is about 11 miles north of Denver.
Authorities released few details about the homicides, though O’Neill said the dead were all adults.
The man who was arrested late Wednesday was taken into custody after a car chase in Jefferson County, which is west of Denver.
The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident, O’Neill said.
