2 dead in shooting at Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue

The Nordstrom store in the Shops at North Bridge shopping center off North Michigan Avenue reopened Sunday, two days after a fatal shooting inside the store. The store was closed Saturday.

Two people were shot Friday night in what police said was a domestic-related incident at the Nordstrom store on North Michigan Avenue.

A gunman approached his ex-girlfriend at the Nordstrom store off Michigan Avenue on Nov. 28, 2014, and shot her before turning the gun on himself, police said. The gunman died at the scene, and the woman died the next day.
