Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver in Lancaster

A 42-year-old pedestrian was killed Saturday night in Lancaster by a hit-and-run driver who remains at large, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of 35th Street West and Avenue L, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The male victim, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The investigation is continuing.
