Los Angeles County can continue to expect clouds, patchy fog and cooler temperatures going into Memorial Day weekend, the National Weather Service said.
Thursday began with low clouds and fog across Southern California and patchy drizzle in the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys and around the Santa Monica Mountains.
Clearer skies and sun were expected by early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Oxnard.
Temperatures are expected to continue to hover in the mid-60s to low 70s through the weekend. Thursday’s predicted high was 72 degrees for downtown Los Angeles. Overnight temperatures this weekend could drop to as low as 57 degrees.
