Marathon light show dazzles L.A. skyline

Seeing the L.A. Marathon route was a little easier Friday night.
A 26-mile band of lights joined the city skyline tonight as the Los Angeles Marathon commemorated the race's 30th anniversary. The light installation includes 124 spotlights totaling more than 7.5 million lumens, which is equal to more than 29,000 light bulbs, a spokeswoman said.
