A 23-year-old man has been booked on suspicion of sending explicit photos and videos to an underage girl in Riverside County, authorities said Thursday.
Jesus Alejandro Madriz allegedly contacted the 15-year-old victim through a social networking site, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim’s parents alerted authorities in December, triggering an investigation. Authorities arrested Madriz on Wednesday at his home in Ontario and took him into custody on suspicion of possessing child pornography and sending harmful matter to seduce a minor, authorities said.
Madriz was being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. Authorities said investigators suspect there may be additional victims and asked anyone with information to call (951) 955-2600.
