The girl was attacked in Lakeland Village not far from Lake Elsinore after leaving a party on May 12, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
During the party, the girl was given alcohol by an adult male. She was allegedly assaulted afterward by the two suspects.
They were identified Monday by the Sheriff’s Department as Tyler Romero, 18, and Michael Petler, 19.
Both were taken into custody Sunday and booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (951) 245-3300.
